During the ArkanSalsa Festival in October 12th, 2019, we held a tortilla-press printmaking booth with Minah Kim (MFA student) and Karen Olivo (BFA in Art Education student) from the University of Arkansas. The big question for their print-making was“What is your favorite expression about community? Cuál es su expression favorite sobre la comunidad?” We had more than 40 children and adults who made Styrofoam prints with a tortilla press.
Entretejer/Interweave team hosted another print-making workshop with RootED (https://rootednwa.org) on May 22, 2021 for RootED family members.
